The International Fair of Machinery and Services for Industry (EMAF) will return for the 15th edition on 19th-22nd November 2014 at the Exponor International Exhibition Hall Porto, Portugal. With a focus on promoting information exchange and international buyers, this event is set to showcase many European manufacturers active in the metalworking and industrial service industries.
With a floor space of over 27,000m2, 35,000 visitors and 330 exhibitors, EMAF 2013 was a very popular trade show within the European market. As this show focuses on bringing buyers and sellers together, exhibitors are given the opportunity for massive exposure to buyers across Europe who are looking for new business opportunities.
A new aspect they are promoting at EMAF 2014 is safety, environmentalism and quality business solutions. This event will also be held in conjunction with the International Fair of Woodworking Machinery and Exhibition of Accessories and Equipment for the Wood Industry.
At this year’s event there will be a specialized area called the subcontracting area that will highlight the domestic subcontracting sector. This aims to add value for visitors by offering them insight into arrangements that are often made between domestic and international buyers. There will also be a dedicated international buyers program that aims to promote trade negotiations for international visitors by promoting knowledge and networking opportunities.
This edition of EMAF will be held in parallel with FIMAP (International Fair of Woodworking Machinery) and FERRALIA (Exhibition of Accessories and Equipment for the Wood Industry), bringing together even more buyers and sellers. This event will also host the 7th EMAF Innovation Contest that will award especially innovative companies for their latest products or technologies.
