The 29th BI-MU machine tool exhibition focuses its attention on all industrial sectors and its exhibitors include mechanics, automotive, aeronautic, aerospace, energy, electronics, biomedical, packaging and transport manufacturers. Moreover, Italians rank third in the international exporters ranking and has a strong history of production excellence when it comes to machine tools and related products.

The 29th BI-MU will be held from September 30th to October 4th 2014, at the fieramilano fairground in Milan, Italy. Organized by EFIM, this edition of BI-MU is set to become the largest ever with even more foreign manufacturers set to show case their products and newest innovations.

BI-MU is one of the oldest and most visited international events dedicated to European machine tools, robotics, automation systems and related industrial products. With a speedy recovery expected of the Italian market, exports have been steadily growing at around 5% per year. This growth has been fuelled by the high quality and precision manufacturing of Italian machine tools, and as such Bi-MU can give great insight into the products that the very best Italian manufacturers have on offer.

The 29th BI-MU will host over 1,160 companies (45% foreign) and over 3,000 different machines will be on display on a total surface of over 90,000m2. The previous 28th edition of BI-MU recorded 58,875 visitors and over 2,000 business meetings which resulted in a large number of sales contracts being signed.
